Message from the President of MSGH (Malaysian Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology)
It is indeed an honour for the Malaysian Society of Gastroenterology and
Hepatology (MSGH) to be given the opportunity to host the prestigious
Asian Pacific Digestive Week in Kuala Lumpur in 2010. The MSGH has a
long track record of organizing top class meetings and this will prove to
be the best APDW so far, in keeping with the theme “Gastroenterology
in Asia Pacific – Excellence in the New Decade”.
Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is the venue for the event. It is one of
the best purpose built convention halls in Asia, located in the heart of the
vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur. With numerous hotels, shopping complexes,
including the world renowned Petronas Twin Towers, restaurants
and entertainment in the vicinity, this indeed will be an excellent and
convenient location for the delegates. We are certain that this will be a
memorable experience for the delegates and speakers alike.
The scientific programs include State-of-the-Art lectures, postgraduate
courses and live endoscopy workshop. Some of the most outstanding
authorities and leaders in their field will be invited from the Asia Pacific
region and the West. This will provide an excellent platform for delegates to
learn the latest technology and endoscopy skill, groundbreaking research
and the most up-to-date on the latest, evidence-based management of
gastrointestinal diseases. This will also provide an opportunity to make
new friends, renew friendship and exchange ideas. We promise you only
